Grandstage CSR

Corporate Social Responsibility
Community Development;
Social Entrepreneurship

Grandstage is a profit for impact business and is more conscious of the uninterrupted demeanor that environmental and social matters have on economic growth and development, and the increasing mindfulness that tackling these matters candidly provides huge opportunities for employment creation and economic development. The aim is to:

  1. Develop community members to become entrepreneurs.

  2. Drive sustainable economic growth in less privileged communities and rural Africa, creating livelihood and building a market for socially impactful world class LED lighting solutions that improve lives and livelihoods.

  3. Build a network of entrepreneurs operating across South Africa and the Sub-Sahara.

  4. Have stakeholder engagement to provide a product range to meet these consumers’ needs.

  5. Build a national network of entrepreneurs in rural and less privileged communities by providing business training, mentoring and support to people with high potential in these areas.

  6. Activate market demand by raising awareness of economic and social value of these products to rural customers.

  7. Create sustainable value chain for “social impact” products by working with manufacturers, distributors and local retailers.

  8. Create jobs at all levels.
